Job brief

We are hiring a skilled and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress with hands-on experience in serving food and beverages, as well as preparing shisha (hookah). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to guests while ensuring the quality and hygiene of shisha preparation.

What you will be doing

• Welcome and seat guests courteously
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve meals and drinks promptly
• Prepare and serve shisha to guests with knowledge of flavors and hygiene standards
• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area
• Educate guests on shisha options and usage
• Assist with inventory management for shisha and bar supplies
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless service
• Comply with all health and safety standards
• Handle guest concerns and feedback professionally

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of OND; a diploma in Hospitality or related field is an advantage
• At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
• Must be courteous, friendly, and able to communicate effectively with guests
• Must be attentive when taking orders and serving meals correctly
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with using Point-of-Sale systems is an added advantage
• Ability to handle multiple tables and priorities in a fast-paced environment
