Job Brief
We are seeking a qualified Spa Nurse experienced in laser treatments to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional skincare services and operate laser equipment in a safe, professional, and client-focused manner. The Spa Nurse will work closely with clients to understand their skincare needs, recommend treatments, and perform laser procedures according to established protocols.
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform laser treatments, including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and other aesthetic procedures.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate the laser machine safely and accurately, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct detailed consultations with clients to assess their skincare goals and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care for optimal results and safe recovery.
- Provide consistent follow-up and address any client concerns or questions.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards, ensuring all equipment and treatment areas are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized.
- Monitor client responses during and after treatments, addressing any adverse reactions promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments, client histories, and equipment logs.
- Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations, and stay updated on industry standards for laser operations and spa services.
- Work collaboratively with other spa staff to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with advancements in laser technology and skincare treatments.
The Ideal Candidate
- A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a background in dermatology or aesthetic medicine is preferred.
- Prior experience in a spa or dermatology setting operating laser machines is required.
- Certification in laser technology or aesthetics (preferred); valid nursing license required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for client record management.
