Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Spa Supervisor to supervise the daily operations of our client’s spa. The Spa Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the spa provides exceptional customer service, operates efficiently, and meets financial targets. This individual will also manage a team of therapists and other spa staff, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain high standards of hygiene and service.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Medspa, including managing staff, treatments, scheduling, and client bookings.
  • Ensure the Medspa is fully stocked with necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory management and ordering.
  • Maintain the Medspa’s ambiance, always ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of spa therapists, receptionists, and other staff.
  • Schedule and assign work to ensure effective operation and high-quality service.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and address any issues that may arise with staff.
  • Ensure that all guests receive outstanding customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement customer care strategies to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Promote the Medspa services and treatments to guests and ensure high satisfaction rates.
  • Develop and monitor the Medspa’s budget, ensuring expenses are controlled and profitability is maximized.
  • Analyze revenue trends, cost controls, and profitability of services.
  • Implement strategies to increase revenue, including upselling services and retail products.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including maintaining hygiene standards in line with industry requirements.
  • Regularly inspect the facilities, equipment, and products to ensure they are in good working order and meet safety standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and services to ensure the Medspa remains competitive.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certification in Spa Management or related qualifications is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medspa management or similar leadership role in the hospitality or wellness industry.
  • Experience in managing a team and overseeing operations.
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets and managing a budget.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming, relaxing experience for guests.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the spa industry.
  • Proficiency in using management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sales and marketing skills to drive business growth.
