Job Brief

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive/Assistant Sales Manager to join our client’s hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the hotel meets or exceeds budgeted sales targets. This role requires strong sales acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to business development.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop key accounts and target accounts within corporate and identified market segments.
  • Drive sales efforts to ensure the hotel meets or exceeds budgeted revenue goals.
  • Proactively source new business through sales calls, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to secure repeat business.
  • Monitor and evaluate the hotel’s participation in various sales channels, including Market Sales, Event Booking Centers, and electronic lead platforms.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of promotional campaigns and sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, and report insights accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the hotel’s service offerings and guest experiences.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience for at least four (4) years as a Sales Executive, Assistant Sales Manager, or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and market segment sales strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills.
  • Must be well-spoken, professional, and presentable.
  • Willingness to work Monday – Friday and some Saturdays as required.
  • A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
