Job Brief

We are seeking a talented and innovative Content Strategist to develop and execute content strategies that enhance brand visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content across various platforms. This role is full-time and requires a female professional with at least one year of experience in content strategy or a related field who resides close to Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and implement content strategies to drive brand awareness and audience engagement
• Create, edit, and publish high-quality content across digital platforms (social media, blogs, websites, etc.)
• Conduct research on industry trends and customer behavior to inform content decisions
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall business goals
• Manage social media content calendars and ensure consistency in brand messaging
• Optimize content for SEO and monitor performance metrics
• Brainstorm and execute creative campaigns to increase audience engagement
• Work with graphic designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce compelling content

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Must be female
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in SEO, content management systems (CMS), and social media platforms
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or other design tools is a plus
• Ability to analyze content performance and adjust strategies accordingly
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
