Job Brief

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage our client’s financial records and ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance. The role will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance, contributing to sound financial management and informed decision-making.

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare, maintain, and update accurate financial records in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Handle invoicing, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor expenses, cost controls, and cash flow to support business operations.
• Assist with audits and respond to audit queries when required.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of HND or BSc in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in a structured organization.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good understanding of financial reporting standards and controls.
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements is an added advantage.
