Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Steakhouse Head-Chef with a deep understanding of premium meats, grilling techniques, and modern culinary trends. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a high-volume steakhouse or fine-dining establishment, a passion for crafting exceptional dishes, and the ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team. 

What you will be doing

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Develop and refine steakhouse menus, incorporating innovative techniques and seasonal ingredients.
  • Prepare premium cuts of meat, ensuring optimal flavor and texture.
  • Implement and maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients at optimal costs.
  • Control food costs, minimize waste, and maintain profitability without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with management on menu pricing, seasonal specials, and food presentation.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and integrate innovative ideas into the menu.
  • Ensure timely execution of dishes during service, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
  • Handle customer feedback, ensuring guest satisfaction and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Chef in a steakhouse or fine-dining restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of meat cuts and grilling techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for developing new and exciting dishes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Financial acumen to manage food costs and budgets.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required
