We are recruiting for a budget-friendly hotel in Ajah, Lagos, seeking a proactive ICT Officer to support the organization’s technological infrastructure. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the hotel’s IT systems, ensuring smooth operations, and resolving technical issues efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT-related issues for staff and departments.
• Monitor and maintain the hotel’s computer systems, networks, and software.
• Install, configure, and update hardware and software systems as required.
• Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing and managing antivirus and firewalls.
• Assist in managing data backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Support the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
• Provide training and technical support to staff to enhance IT literacy.
• Document and log technical issues and their resolutions.

The Ideal Candidate

• At least two (2) years of experience as an ICT Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of data security, backup solutions, and IT protocols.
• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to IT-related issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with hospitality IT systems is an added advantage.
